Mint Lemonade

Ingredients
1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Hot Water
6 Medium Lemons, juiced
3 Cups Cold Water
1/2 Cup Mint Leaves
2 Cups Ice Cubes, more if needed
Directions
  1. Heat 1/2 cup of water and then mix with sugar in a large pitcher. Let this cool for 5 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Add 1 cup of the ice. 
  3. Juice the lemons into the pitcher and mix until well combined. 
  4. Add in 3 cups of cold water. 
  5. Gently press and twist mint leaves in a muddling glass or use the flat end of a wooden spoon. 
  6. Place half of the mint in the pitcher. 
  7. In your drinking glass (or glasses), add the remaining ice and mint. 
  8. Pour the lemonade into each glass and stir. 
  9. Enjoy!
